Change … that’s what is on my heart today. Time changes things … those tiny babies soon grow up and crawl, walk, start school and graduate high school before you can blink! My heart has been feeling the tug of change lately as I have had many high school senior portraits this Fall. I always have such fun photographing seniors, but I also feel the hearts of mommas who are watching their teens grow and spread their wings into new adventures…it’s always a little bittersweet to let go.
Change … we also have experienced many changes at Melissa Treen Photography too! You may have noticed our lack of blogging and limited posts on social media … the reasons: it’s our busy season and we are utilizing every ounce of time to shoot, edit, order and deliver portraits to our clients AND we have also had a huge change within our staffing. I have a few part-time assistants that assist in different areas and we are saying goodbye to one of them. Our production assistant (my daughter), who has worked so hard behind the scenes to pull things together, work on special products, social media, marketing and filling so many other holes around the studio… has acquired a full-time job in her area of study. She will be greatly missed, but I couldn’t be more happy or proud of her as she begins her new adventure! We wish her much success in her new journey!
So, with that in mind, we are evaluating the possibility of offering a new job opportunity to fill her position. If you know someone that may be a good fit, email me … I’d love to chat!
We met this beautiful high school senior in the gorgeous sunset hour at one of our favorite locations. Her portraits are stunning…here’s a peek from her portrait session…
