We have been busy, running in multiple directions over the past few months. While we have been busy photographing family, maternity, baby, newborn, teen, model and high school senior portraits, we have also had a few special projects underway as well. If you follow us on Instagram, you’ve probably seen a few hints to one of our projects underway.
For some time now, we have had the need for a client order area… somewhere to serve as a design area for custom wall art pieces and fine art albums, a place to package and house product orders, space to conduct training/mentoring classes and non-local client viewing/ordering sessions, and a second office/work space for or assistant. So, the time was ripe to create this much needed space.
We desired to decorate the space in a style true to our brand … natural, organic and beautiful. We incorporated touches of differing tones of wood, cotton, chippy wood, metals, furs, ruffles, knits and a handful of pumpkins for Fall. This is the end result and we absolutely adore it! …
Ever see one piece that begins it all … this is that one piece for me … a rustic chippy paint wood door with “Together we make a family” quote on it … when I saw it at my local favorite find … Salvage Sisters … I knew it had to come home with me! The family quote is one of my very favorites and it solidifies why I do what I do – photography speaks to the heart and family is what it is all about.
This lamp was another one of those “must-haves” … it provides the perfect touch of feminine whimsy … and I adore the different tones of wood ad pumpkins in the decor above
Our second work space set-up … complete with laptop for ordering and designing
I have been stalking this sofa for months… I love that it is a neutral, as I can decorate throughout many seasons by simply changing pillows… I went with a neutral white fur and this fun crochet embroidered pillow for now, but this sofa will see many looks as seasons change … so fun!
these ruffle curtains were so difficult to find (especially in the length I needed), but they were so worth the search!
