It has been a busy month for us around here at Melissa Treen Photography. We have met many new moms and babies this month, photographed Easter/Spring photo sessions, worked on several special projects (to soon be revealed), photographed a ton of baby portrait planners and just finished up The Belly Baby Bazaar in Greensboro yesterday! It was an amazing event and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of it! : )
Our calendar is filling with due dates from March – October (yes…October already) and we are so honored to be chosen as your photographer. We do encourage moms to schedule their newborn portrait sessions early, as we accept a limited number of newborn due dates per month. If you are nearing delivery (or even if you have already delivered) and have not chosen your baby photographer yet, please do contact us. Even with a busy schedule, we try our very best to work in each and every newborn, if at all possible, because we understand how very important it is to capture those sweet, fresh new baby moments.
And now to share one of my newest favorites, a sweet mom and baby portrait …
Why are mom and new baby portraits so important?
I always encourage new moms to get in front of the camera during their newborn portrait session. The birth of a new baby is an overwhelming experience of joy, love and adoration. It uproots feelings and emotions so strong in mommies, as their hearts are overflowing with love for their new baby. Those moments, that connection between mom and baby can not truly be defined with words … but the emotion of the moment can be remembered always. It is that memory we encourage capturing. As days pass and baby grows older, these moments will be ones to look back at to remember where it all began. : )
