I cannot believe we have come to the end of another week already, this has been an incredibly busy season, and I have so much to share with you soon, many sneak peeks from recent sessions, news, updates and future plans, so stay tuned…more information is coming soon…  until then I wanted to share a quick post on a reflection of my journey into photography…

Recently I took this image, which reminded me of why I began this journey in photography, so I thought I’d share…

Here is an image from over 12 years ago that really inspired me to see photographs as art, granted I have come a long way on my photographic journey since then, but I treasure this image becuase it captured a special season of life, one that I adore, and while that season has long passed, I will always have this memory which is absolutley precious to me…

It is so funny how very much things change – my fellow scrapbookers will remember when scrapbooking first “took off” as a hobby, stamping was huge, there was not all the beautiful embellishments as there are now, so this scrapbook page is trully a step back into time, isn’t it?  It is still a treasure to me : )
